Clusters of white, cup-shaped, fragrant flowers during warm months.
New tropical vine from Thailand with clusters of white, half-inch, cup-shaped, fragrant flowers. The flowers are used to make perfume. The common name is derived from the fragrance which is similar to fresh baked bread. The intense fragrance is similar to pandan leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius). Blooms repeatedly in warm months. Can be trained as a compact bush. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Grow in sun or part shade. We have not tested the hardiness of this plant.
