Tropical Fragrant Plants

Away from the tropics fragrant plants can transport you to that lush environ where you first encountered it. Sweet, spicy, flowery or fruity, some tropical plants are known for their ability to fill the air with fragrance. Others may have a mercurial fragrance that is both astonishing and vanishing at once. Fragrances can have a clean and refreshing qulity to them such with Jasmines. So much so that they are a frequent scent in cleaning products.

Gardenias are a favorite plant sought after for their fresh and clean fragrance. Some passion flowers can have a very strong and sweet fragrance. In Hawaii, plumeria trees line neighborhood streets and fill the air with flowery sweet scent.
