Aristolochia fimbriata 'White Veined Dutchman's Pipe'
Small vine prone to producing a woody caudex. Attracts the gulf fritillary.
Aristolochia fimbriata is pretty little plant that attracts oodles of pipevine swallowtails butterflies. Strange pipe shaped flowers adorn this odd plant. Its white veined leaves add texture to the plant's personality.
Another interesting quality of this vine is that fact it will develop a woody caudex. The caudex in the photos is about the size of a tennis ball and took about three years to develop.
