Apoballis acuminatissima 'Lavallaei'
Apoballis acuminatissima 'Lavallaei'... rolls off the tongue doesn't it? Despite its name this beautiful plant is ready to take the premier spot in your houseplants collection or out in the garden for those lucky enough to live in Zone 10 or higher.
New leaves start as pale green and becomes a powdery darker green with age. Splotches of silver green in various stages of coverage appear all over the tops. The underside of the leaves bring a dramatic burgundy red flair to the table.
I've seen these online for over $75 before shipping and all I can do is SMH.
