Petrea volubilis is a beautiful vining grower. It has whimsical common names such as Queen’s Wreath and Bluebird Vine.
It is sometimes called Sand Paper Vine because the rough texture of the leaves is reminiscent of sand paper. It is happy in full sun or partial shade but demands well draining soil.
Petrea volubilis will survive most winters in USDA Zone 9 but may need attention those years when freezing temperatures are prolonged.
