Passiflora Incense is a vigourous grower in the gulf coast garden. It has a an intensely sweet fragrance and can cover large areas in one or two seasons.

It has proven hardy in Houston and possibly into Zone 8. It dies back in winter but returns with a vengeance in the spring.

Passiflora Incense is desirable in the butterfly garden where it hosts the Gulf Coast Fritterlary en masse.
