Brunfelsia lactea - Lady of the Night

Evergreen shrub from cooler Puerto Rican mountain regions. The largest flowered Brunfelsia in cultivation. Blooms intermittently year-round. White trumpet-like flowers consisting of three-inch long tubes, with overlapping, large lobed petals. Fragrant, more so at night. Has lanceolate four to five inch long dark green foliage, smaller if grown in more sun. Bright filtered light to part sun, in fertile, well drained, neutral to slightly acid, soil.
