Bambusa vulgaris 'Vittata' - Painted Bamboo

A non-invasive subtropical clumping bamboo with multiple branches at each node. New shoots grow during summer and fall in the Houston area.

Culms and branches are bright yellow with narrow dark green stripes. Culms grow to 4 inches in diameter and 50 feet tall. Hardy to 30 degrees F.
