Bambusa malingensis - 'Sea Breeze Bamboo'

A non-invasive subtropical clumping bamboo that tolerates sea brezes. Produces many new shoots in summer and fall in the Houston area.

Culms are green with few branches on lower section. Culms grow to 2.5 inches in diameter and 35 feet tall. Hardy to 21 degrees F.
